You know what I'm wondering is if I can sign up and use my existing number, but later on if I decide I want the other features, if you can get a Google Voice number. Or are you stuck with the lower features?

I'm already using a Google Voice number on my account. How on earth do I switch it over to use my own cell number? All I have is an option to change my GV number, and they want to charge me $10
In other words, I want to do the opposite of what sunkast was asking about doing.
Wondering that myself, and if it can be done vice versa. Changing it from my existing number to a GV number.
