Thread: Facebook issues

Hey guys for some reason the facebook page will not load after I login and I always have to hit column view to be able to see the login page but then nothing will load. Is this a problem with the Hybrid OS or something else?

have you done a battery pull recently? try clearing your browsers cache and history and try it again

Hey guys im having issues with my facebook as well. It won't send any notifications. Before upgrading to the storm I had the 8330 and I did get all my notifications. Any recommendations? I have upgraded to every leaked OS now running 3.5

do you have the email that u use for facebook set up on your BB, i had same problem, cause the email i use for facebook i never use so didnt set it back up then found out that email has to be set up on your phone and it works now

No I am using the gmail app. after adding your email did u get the notifications?? If so I will delete the app and add the email....Thanks for replying....

yes i did. and u wont get the email from facebook for notification on that email on phone, but u will on computer. i never used the gmail app, i figured the email is already here why bother with another app

Thanks a lot. I just deleted the gmail app from the phone. Its now rebooting. Can I add u to bbm???

i never use bbm or else i would

Just thought id report back. I am now getting all my facebook notifications. Adding the email attached to your facebook on your blackberry will solve this issue. Thanks Blindmand

anybody able to get the facebook 4.5 beta to work on storm? it installs on my storm, but no app shows... 3.5 hybrid installed

Take a look in your applications or the downloads folder.

Do you have a link for this?

the latest version is 1.3, 1.5 is to be released in the near future.

4.5 beta is what you have?

it's 4.6 only...
