    Check your Blackberry Speed - Post your results

    So far I have come across a few 'speed tests' for the Blackberry. Most recently was the "GIST" speed test which, no matter where I was located I was always getting a slow speed. I got an email earlier with this screen cap and a link. Apparently there is now another new Speed test. This works with Edge, 3G and wifi. Works with all Blackberrys, yes the storm as well. I'm interested to see what results I will get with this since the GIST speed test I previously used was always giving me results which were below normal. I'd like to see what every one else gets for their results. So post your results here. Also let us know if you are using WiFI, 3G or Edge.

    I just ran this with verizon on my storm.

    Download speed : 103.17k/bit
    Max speed : 148.85kbits/s

    Upload speed is 2.95
    Max speed 73.47 kbits/s

    Here are my results...given the fact that I am atleast able to use a Blackberry with complete functionality i am pretty happy with the results

    Here are the Speedtest results for my Blackberry:

    Connection Type: Carrier
    Avg. Download Speed: 152.4Kbits/s
    Max. Download Speed: 182.02Kbits/s

    Avg. Upload Speed: 37.03Kbits/s
    Max. Upload Speed: 54.34Kbits/s
