    Fixscreen app

    Not sure if this was posted somewhere before, but it didn't show up in a search. I was searching to see if any new apps came out and came across this.

    Finally a fix for the well-known HomeScreen bug for Storm with OS 5.0. All applications (including but not limited to weather applications, calendar date applications etc.) will update their icons again. For example with just one click your favorite weather application will work OK at last!

    ** Warning **
    FixScreen will reset any custom icon text to its default value.

    Note for software developers:
    FixScreen offers an interface to notify third-party applications of the HomeScreen update. If you are interested in such integration, please contact us (Technical Support).

    Features:

    * - Manual fix HomeScreen
    * - Scheduled (auto) fix HomeScreen (every 15, 30, 45 minutes etc.)
    * - Autostart on device reboot
    * - Easy to use

    Has anyone tried this app out as yet? Its selling for $0.99 right now.

    Haven't tried it yet, QuiteSimple made the app, its not currently listed on their site. Think they are marketing it through a 3rd party site. The SmartBCalendar app they sell works well.

    I did buy this app, but the theme I use doesn't have icons on the home screen, just the app screen - and with that being said, it didn't fix the weather icon on the app screen, still just says weatherbug with the weatherbug icon-even witht the moving of the icon and then rebooting. Haven't tried it yet on a theme with the weather icon on the homescreen tho,maybe that is the only way it works.

    Wait. I tried it with one of the themes witht the weather slot, but it still did not work for weatherbug at least. Maybe its only for the precision zen theme? I'd wait.

    I have installed and it does not work Weatherbug with my theme or the default Zen theme that comes with the Storm.

    With Berry Weather it updates the icon and temperature badge but resets the description back to say "BerryWeather". You then have to press the icon to display the app and it then shows the description, which I have set as Conditions.
    In other words, it's not ideal, but a half way fix. For 99 cents, it's hard to complain too much
