Google Search App for OS 5.

    Hi,

Does anyone have the COD for this app? The link on google mobile site doesn't utilize the full screen on my 9530. The app hinks it is a non-touch screen BB. The keyboard shows up and can't be hidden. The app only works in portrait mode.

    Thanks.....

make sure compatibility mode isn't enabled for the app. i've had the same thing happen with google voice and google sync. do a battery pull after you change the seeting. try it a few times, that's always worked for me.

    Hi,

Is the compatibility mode setting app specific or is it an os function? where is this option located?

    Thanks!....

I've noticed that on OS 5 all my Google apps installed with compatibility mode enabled by default and caused problems. To check/change go to options> applications> third party> highlight the app in question and press menu. You will see enable compatibility mode or disable compatibility mode depending on what the app is set to.
