The fix was posted about an hour ago. I would recommend that you redownload it just to be sure.

I tried to install framework 2.0 but it says that it's already part of the operating system. And I have also framework 3.5. Is there something I'm missing?

I just redownload the link on mirror 2, uninstall, reboot and re-install. Still the same problem. I hope that there will be a solution, for tonight, I quit, I need some sleep. Thanks to all the post trying to help. Maybe tomorrow I will be more lucky

It mentioned that DM was also needed as part of the requirements. Do you know if its referring to DM 4.7 or 5.0 or does it matter?

Where did you find the app to run it..I really dont care about an Icon ..as long as I can use the app..Am running Xp, what are you ?

Copy shortcut icon to desktop. Works great.

We are repackaging the latest installer installs the app but no desktop icon. You can solve by going to Program Files -> BBSAK -> right click and send to desktop to create shortcut feel free to delete the one in that folder.

Btw thanks tevansny for pointing that out.

I found the shortcut Icon. I went into file search and looked up "bbsak" in the "c" drive. It found a few (I must have downloaded too many times)including the shortcut file.[/IMG]
Tried to include screenshot but got an error mesage (bbsak shortcut Icon.doc:
Your file of 97.0 KB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 19.5 KB for this filetype.
I included a pic though..
I right click on the logo and placed it on the desktop. I clicked on it and ...Voila...it works fine

mac version please..is it to much to ask?

Hmm, tried this out today. Seems like there is an issue with the "read event log"; does not display the logs.

Mine will not read the event log either. All I get is an empty box.

I don't believe that it is a Vista 64 issue. I just installed BBSAK 1.6 on a Vista 64 machine and it is running without any problems. Of course in that respect, BBs and PCs have a lot in common - no 2 run the same.
