Question Error when Backing up with BBSAK

    Greetings everyone,

I was having this particular problem before and after upgrading my OS on my Storm. Whenever I try to backup third party apps with BBSAK it locks up on me. It should be noted that was happening prior to me upgrading from .148, and still happens in 5.0.xxxxx.

Anyone experiencing this problem, and if so were you able to resolve it?

    Thanks in advance,
    Statustray

no I haven't. Check your connection and try a battery pull before doing it. Or delete app thn redownload bbsak. On another note 1.6 will be releasing soon. Should fix your issues

I never had what you mention, but the one time I tried restoring a BBSAK backup, all I got was some warning about 'these appz are not compatible with your device'

The long winded way of backing up is the simplest option.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have uninstalled the app from the computer and restarted it. In the meantime, I did a battery pull. When both the computer and bb were back up and operational, I reinstalled BBSAK. Then tried to run the backup of third party apps again, and same result.

For kicks, I switched over to BB Desktop and backed up the bb with no problems whatsoever.

    Interesting indeed!

Hopefully there might be an update that might resolve my issue as I do like BBSAK.

    Regards,
    Statustray
