    mini opera, tour, ota question

    Hi Everyone,
I've had mini opera 5.0 on my tour with .230 os and it works fine...except for not being able to download any ota's. I found myself needing the ota function. I have tried all of the following, but I still get a '907 invalid cod' error when I try to download an ota:
    1) copied page address, closed mini opera, opened bb browser pasted and tried download-no luck
    2) uninstalled mini opera, cleared cache, cookies, etc, did a restart and tried an ota in bb browser--still same error message.

I can't seem to get the tour back to being able to use ota--any advice? It did work before mini opera. This is my first bb, and am still learning my way through all the settings and so on.

    Thanks

when you copy the link to the bb browser make sure you go into your browser options and have the rendering set to blackberry not firefox or IE and see if that works

    Hey there,

I believe the 907 error is application related. I would suggest you back up your data and applications.

Then do a handheld wipe and a physical battery pull.

Do you use BBSAK? It's a third party PC program for your blackberry. It is the easiest way to back up your applications. Here's the link but make sure you follow the install instructions listed just below the video clips

Thanks for the replys, the browser is set to blackberry. I have been using the alt/shift/del instead of an actual battery pull-I thought that they were the same thing. I'll do a back up and then try the wipe/restore. If I run into trouble I'll post again.

    Thanks again.
