    Great police scanner app!!

    Wirelessly posted

If you like to listen to police scanner this is the app for you!!! BBScanner.com: Listen to police and fire scanners on your BlackBerry - Home. 14 day trial and. Its only $3 to buy. You can still surf on your phone while you listen. Got it off the storm ota app. I know it works on the 9530 running .230. I'm listening to a foot chase now.

That is awsome. Reminds me of when I was a kid listening to scanners old school style. And it even has my local PD. For $3 for sure, no brainier.

I had it loaded on my Storm a few months back and some of the PD's I wanted to listen to were always off the air and the NJ State police would go off the air when I needed it most... Rush hour :Eyecrazy:
Does anyone know if that changed? Regardless this is still a cool app to kill some time
Also not sure if it still happens but if a call or message comes thru and you don't have it in silent or vibrate, the streaming resets to the beginning

UPDATE: I downloaded the app again and it's much improved at least from the UI stand point and now it also has Rail and a couple other things. I'm going to keep it
