Facebook App now working on .230

Just downloaded from the Blackberry website. Version still lists as 1.6, but it is installed and functional on my Storm running 5.0.0.230.

Thought everyone might like to know. Have a wonderful evening.

I can verify 1.6.0.22 from mobile.blackberry.com works on my Bold 5.2 platform

for some strange reason i have a feeling that BBM 5.0 will soon arrive due to the fact that RIM secretly releasing these APPs for 5.0 os on there mobile site

The Facebook Verizon Icon that's pushed to every ones phone intalls a version of Facebook that isn't available through any other means. Version 1.6.0.22 which works with all OS 5 versions. I'm rocking it right now on .230. You must isntall by selecting the Facebook Icon that comes with the OS. Most of you may have it hidden by now. Un-hide it and install.

Can you show me how to work this on my bold. I'm on .190< what is platform 5.2 is this a required to run the Facebook on my bold. your answer is much appreciated.

To keep this simple, the new version of Facebook works with OS's starting in 5.0. You are good to go.

Yes this Facebook works with all 5.0 firmware

I was just pointing out that it does work on my 9000 and 8900 which are on platform version 5.2.x.xxx so the Bold/Javelin crowd would know

I only see version .21 on mobile.blackberry.com. Is that the one? Or am I not looking at the right area?
