yes it does work on the bold.

this is a very cool app and defiantly worth buying but if you're running 5.0 the best part of it (IMO) still doesn't work. the cool led's work and can be customized for each notification that you receive but the audible alerts still don't work. i'm sure this will be fixed in the future.

If yer talking bout the "move the icon fix", you would have to do that every time it updates and changes the icon. I thought do it once and it keeps up, but apparently not so.

that is the one...but after i do that my icon does update itself. i'm using the temp underneath it and not as a badge if that makes a difference.
