so I noticed that telus and 5.0 and google maps plays friendly now and we get a gps lock instead of 1700 meters. My questions though I installed an alx file I found online because I didn't back up my third party apps. Is there a difference between a storm alx file and others. When I use google maps I can only use it in compatibility mode. If so does anyone have a storm version all for google maps and google sync

sorry to ask but is there a reason ota doesnt work?

There was a fix somewhere for google maps and 5.0. I just can't remember where I found it. Give me a few minutes to locate the link.

I found an OTA link. http://www.p3designs.info/gmaps.jad P3 posted this for us a little while ago so Google Maps will work with 5.0.

As for Google Sync, I'm not sure if I can help you with that.

Nice find. I just bbm'd a few friends on 4.7 to see if its 5.0 or the new service books.
