I think I'm going to try it out on Monday, I'll post how it worked.

Tried the guest option yesterday and wasn't overly impressed. Kept dropping out and didn't map some of the holes properly. In fairness though it was very overcast and probably not a great day for satellite reception. Also when it did work I really liked it.
Would like to try it again under better conditions but 24 hr trial has expired. Let me know how you guys made out.

so i used this for a round last weekend, looks great but gps failed alot. half the holes i could not use it, and the weather was near perfect. I use bbgps golf, its not pretty, but it always works if the courses are mapped correctly with out any gps errors. based on this im staying with the free golf gps program.

I just tested this app out and compared it to my SkyCaddie.

    1. Out in the open, it was with 3-4 yards of my SkyCaddie, which isn't too bad for the average joe golfer.

    2. As soon as I got under some trees though, the signal dropped.

If you're going to use this app, make sure you're out in the open. And make sure you have a full battery when you go to the golf course. I can see this app eating a lot of battery power during an 18 hole round!!
