Thread: The Best free Blackberry Application

In my opinion, it's a toss up between Viigo and Poynt.

Viigo is just so versatile. If you make use of it's full capabilities, you can replace quite a few other apps out there that are limited to just one function, i.e, Twitter, You Tube, even Poynt for movies, etc.

So, I suppose, even though I think they are both excellent applications, my vote has to go for Viigo.

Let's hear your opinion, I'm sure there are other apps out there equally as good.

I would like to set up a poll, so that we could vote, but I don't know how to do that, maybe someone could help out in that respect and add some other apps to vote on that are well regarded in our community?

The new poynt (Beta Version) is awesome. it includes opentable. i am testing it, just got the email to test the other day. lol A LOT better than previous versions of poynt V1.4.2.62 :-)

I would have said Viigo but then after Poynt released it's beta I am really liking that app.

In addition, BBM has to be IMO one of the most useful and important apps in my life. Without it I would be pretty screwed. So I am really at a lose as to which one app I would choose but considering you can get most of what Viigo and Poynt over via web I am going to say BBM.

And by the way, a poll can only be set-up at the same time a new thread is. So the only option is to start a new thread and then merge these into that. But first I think we should decide on a set of apps for people to vote on.

That sounds good. So far we have Viigo, Poynt and BBM. Do you want to go with those three or wait and try and add a couple more?

Can't he just go up to Thread Tools and click on Add a poll?

TwitterBerry is my most used app. I tried BerryWeather the other day and man that is one sweet app. Couldn't afford it sadly.

BerryWeather is the best weather app out there, I use it also. But it's not free

my used app is BBM second is Social Scope. Poynt beta is tight. o i forgot about my second nuber one is flick scroll im lovin it

- Added many battery optimizations
- Enable/Disable FlickScroll menu item will only show in apps that are supported
- Moved FlickScroll settings to BlackBerry options
- Added FlickScroll logo and new scroll indicator
- Fixed settings lost after reboot

Poynt IMO
