Thread: Is this app possible?

My son on law recently had his car broken into and his Palm Pilot stolen with all his data, passwords etc.
With all the data we have on our Blackberrys is it possible to develope an application that would allow you to dial up your phone and put in a code or password that would allow you to "wipe" your data should your phone be stolen or lost?
I know you can password protect your Storm or Blackberry, but it isn't convenient when you want to check e-mail often etc.
It could be a money maker for someone to develope. I'm not smart enough to know how or if it could be done.
