As I said before, BBM 5.0 has the ability to scan bar codes. The main purpose is to add PIN's by a bar code. So if you go to add a contact, and choose add by scanning a bar code, you can scan a bar code. There isn't any other app for BlackBerry that does this.Quote:

You can scan barcodes with BBM 5.0... I don't know of anything else, but there has to be some sort of app I would think since now there are barcodes for a lot of different things now
there is a good free program call BeeTagg that works pretty well. I haven't tried NeoReader, but BeeTagg works when scanning off my computer screen at the office (an flat-screen LCD), wasn't too much glare, worked 4/6 attempts -- just let it focus and you're good to go...
