Thread: Any way to backup Google Maps favorites when updating OS?

I lose all my Google Maps favorites every time I update the OS. It is a real drag. Is there a way around this?

Not that I am aware of I know the google boards are full of people asking for this to be integrated in the next release. Let's hope they listen and make a back up and restore option.

I agree. With how often we update our device, it's needed.

We do update our devices frequently and the people of google or other manufactures of products must realize this. There needs to be an adjustment or a simpler way of going about this in the future.

Yep I agree with you Sean 110% but remember how long it was just for BB app developers to incorporate that as well. IE patternlock, quicklaunch etc

Hopefully it will be right around the corner for Google as they always seem to be on top of these issues.
