V Cast Video - Now Available for the Blackberry Storm

You know all those times that you are stuck somewhere you don’t want to be and wish you weren't missing your TV shows? The doctor’s office, jury duty, or you just simply forgot to pay your cable bill…

Well if you have the Blackberry Storm, V Cast Video is now available.
There are more than a hundred full length programs from your favorite cable networks.
Whether you like reality, drama, or want to keep your kids busy with their shows, Verizon has come through for you.

V Cast Video even has live sports and soon, even college football. What more could you ask for?
Being a Storm owner you are among the elite who can take advantage of this technology first. All you need to do is open up your browser and go to the VZ Today link. Click on Get Apps and select V Cast Videos which will download the application. An icon will show on the home screen of your device.

The quality is a higher resolution than you are used to with other phones and the search function allows you to find stuff easier.

Blackberry Storm smart phone customers with unlimited data plans can add V CAST Videos for a $10.00 monthly subscription.

For more information about products and services from Verizon Wireless, visit a Verizon Wireless Communications Store, call 1-800-2 JOIN IN or visit New Cell Phones, CPO Cell Phones, Prepaid Cell Phones, Cell Phone Plans - Verizon Wireless.

V CAST Video is also available on a multitude of other featured phones.

If you are on Verizon and take advantage of this new feature, let us know what you think below!

V-Cast is included with other phones, why we gotta pay more on top of the extra 30 bucks for data??? I hate you, Verizon.

Anyone know how large the VCast app is? willing to bet its like a cool 2mb or so...

Edit: I checked it out its 1.3 mb...

Here's Verizon: "Oh, you want to hear a busy signal when the other person is on the phone? That's 3$ a month. ... what's that? You only get 1 bar of service? That's because only one bar of signal strength is included in your plan. If you want 5 bars.... 10.50 per month on top of your minutes you pay for (that's separate)!!" Seriously....

I bummed that I have to pay more for the service. I understand why but it still stinks. Glad I know how to convert my dvds to mp4 format for my storm.

I wish verizon with offer something free as a thank you towards their customers. I am already VIP with them and I only get 25% off merchandise. They should offer more for us long time users.

They definitely have more of a "we know we're the best so if you want it you better pay up" attitude, as opposed to a "thank you for your business" attitude...

IMO its a ridiculous app, there are so many alternatives out there. Why would you want to pay for something that you can get for free or at least a lot less...

Please elaborate. I'm mainly interested in the live sports.
