No problem like I said for .99 it really isn't that bad especially if they keep updates coming and making it better. I find now that I moved it to Quicklaunch to open the app I really don't mind clearing two separate alerts.

    Bchat app updated 1.15

Just received an email from Mobihand, bchat updated to 1.15. This is good sign that they are trying to make the app better than it is right now. I notice that there's a time stamp on sent and received messages, not sure if that was there before. Also the chat bar at the bottom is highlighted. I also notice that if I received a text while in the conversation, the received message is marked me as tho I sent it to myself.

Thanks for the update BD :fing02: I haven't had a chance to download the update yet. And you are correct the time stamp was not there before, so that alone is a great feature for the add on.

bChat has been updated to 1.50

One of my new favorite apps has been updated. That's right threaded text like a Iphone. If you Cant run 5.0.0.191 you will need this app. I've been running it for several weeks now and its becoming a great app with high potential. Check out there article and change log here. Another bonus is that its only one dollar. that's right one dollar. grab it here at Mobihand bChat Also check there site Allkappssoftware

    9/14/09 Change Log

    New Features
    - Newest chats will rise to the top of the list
    - Focus stays in the chat area after sending a message
    - 160 notification moved to the end when you send the message to not disrupt your typing.
    - keyboard shortcuts to move up and down and middle of conversation
    --b for bottom -- t for top -- m for middle
    - Chats save with date attached so you dont overwrite previously saved chats.
    - Darker label colors were added for better readability
    ***********

Have you ever seen a friends iPhone and wondered why your BlackBerry text messages can't be put together in a much more organized and logical form? That is where bChat comes in. bChat gives you a true "threaded SMS" application where instead of one long list of text messages in your inbox, you have lists of conversations based on the contact name. This allows you to much more easily find what you need because of the simplification of browsing.

Ever wanted to save your conversation with someone so you can email it in full, or keep a record of it for a later date? bChat easily does this for you, by saving each conversation to a text file on either your device memory or your memory card for easy access, emailing or exporting.

Note: For best results, do a battery pull after installing.
Also, if you have an application like empower these applications will conflict and one or the other will not work.

You will get duplicate messages in bChat and the sms app because of RIM API limitations but to get rid of these duplicate messages this will work...

Go to options ->security -> firewall, and block sms, and then allow bChat to receive them the first time you receive a message after this. This will cause the message to only end up in bChat.

Please see the developers website for support forums
