Have you ever wanted to be part of the testing stage for an application? Well here is your chance. BlackberryCool is reporting that Poynt is looking for 500 beta testers for their next major release. The new release is said to have support for Open Table, which allows you to search restaurants and make reservations which earn you dining rewards. Let the lottery begin!

The next major release of Poynt, the award-winning local search application for BlackBerry® smartphones, is nearing completion and to ensure its ready for prime-time, we’re looking for 500 dedicated BlackBerry users to help test the application.

Poynt is well known for its awesome UI, not to mention how easy it is to find local businesses and movie information. The next release features a separate Restaurant section with the ability to read reviews and book dining reservations. Help us make sure it lives up to what you’ve come to expect – email us now at beta@mypoynt.com.

Make sure to let us know your PIN, BlackBerry device and carrier.

Sent it last night and got the reply this morning.
Make sure you include in your email:

Got mine last night also....Very nice additions to an already nice app. With the very nice restaurant section, this has made my already favorite "search" app...even more "favorite" :laugh2:

This is the best "Locate/Search/Info" app out there for BB, Hopefully they need a few more testers! Just sent them an e-mail!
