Thread: Mobile banking...my new favorite app

this past week i opened a new account with another bank and downloaded their mobile banking app. it has quickly turned into one of my favorite apps. i have a college kid that is always calling(mostly texting) me needing more money. now instead of having to run to the bank to deposit some money into his account i can just open the app and a few clicks later he has the funds in his account. i'm also in the process of adding all my bills into the app so when i make a utility,credit card or any other payment instead of having to run across town or log into my pc i can just pay the bill through the app with a couple of clicks. i thought i'd post this because some of you may bank with a company that offers this service and you may not be aware of it. the banking app is made by firethorn holdings but you can't use it unless your financial institute uses their services. head on over to their website and see if your bank uses them.

More useful than people think. Even if its just a web shortcut you can still get a lot done on the mobile website.

Yea this is what i want but i wont be able to have till my stupid WaMu account becomes a Chase account :-/

The bank of america app is basically just a launcher. I find it easier to just save the website as a favorite.

this is not a launcher but an actual app. much easier to use than a mobile web page.

I use the b of a app for over a year now and love it. I can transfer money from account to account and find locations close to me via gps.

I wish the list of banks was longer, mine is not listed and it is a major bank, to bad because it looks like a GREAT app!

Where can I actually get the app, my bank is listed, and I found a copy for WinMobile, but that does me no good.

why doesnt wells fargo have an app!!!!! ughh

I found this mobile banking app on my Wachovia account about 6 months ago and it a nice thing versus trying to use the main website when away from your computer. It sits on the second row of my main menu

you have to get the app from your banks website. sign up from there and they should give you a link.
