Thread: New Beta Tester site coming soon!

One of the ways developers struggle is finding and contacting solid testers. A bunch of you guys here have provided great testing support for me, and I want to give a little back.

I am creating a web site for testers to register to hear about upcoming apps. There are a lot of details that need to be fleshed out, but heres a few ideas:

- Testers have reputation ratings, the best testers will get the best apps
- All users get to hear early about releases
- Discounts on apps for users
- many many more

At this stage, I am collecting interest for the initial set of users. I will likely start it off small and move to an invite only system until everything is ready.

Post in this thread things you would like to see. Eventually this is something that could be open to all developers to make everyones life a bit easier.

Thanks Epic, very kind of you to share this with our members. When you said state things that you would like us to see I am assuming app wise. If so here are a few things that would nice:

1. Flick Scrolling across the entire OS.
2. A way to change the default browser to Opera or Bolt

My brain is mush now but I will follow up with a few more tomorrow.
