Thread: Weather Condition As Background

Ever wanna stay up to date on what the weather conditions, but your weather apps just weren't doing it? Well HomeWeather is the answer to your prayers. It's not a typical app, it's rather just a background. The app simply shows a picture for the local weather conditions in your city. It doesn't show the current temperature or anything along those lines, just a simple picture to show the conditions. It's a little expensive for what it does. At $9.99, but on sale for $8.99 till August 31st. The biggest problem with this app is that it's only available for the Storm device. Hopefully it'll be released for most of the other newer BlackBerries, but until then your out of luck.

looks pretty cool but i agree...a little steep for what it does.

I am with cat on this one. 9.99 I justified for BerryWeather but you get a lot for that price. This isn't worth the cost IMO

I'm not cheap but I'm looking out my sliding glass doors at the pool and I can tell it's mostly sunny, so I'll stick with my view. Bryan I agree with you, Berryweather is worth the coin since you get so much that a window can't do.

:haha: flipping had me on the floor.

P.S. I don't like the concept at all it seems intrusive in that it takes up my whole screen and limits my options for themes. I could take that money and take the family to eat at Taco Bell.

I am going to have to give this two snaps down with a whistle. (In Living Color circa 91)
