The truth about the sending/receiving lag with bbm 5.0

ok I understand its the server and all that but I have just poked a big whole in that theory. I am currently at work and I have 7 bbs to test with. 2 STORMS 1 PEARL, 1 PEARL FLIP 1 TOUR 1 CURVE AND 1 WORLD edition 8830. The storm has bbm 5 and so does the curve the rest old bbm. Well after usage the old bbm is still working while the storm and the curve with bbm 5.0 is not sending mesages currently i resent service books i did battery pull same problem. So it seems that the 5.0 amplifies the lag problem. So going back to the old bbm will in fact help the sending and receiving lag. By the way the phones are all sitting next to each other on the same table.

PS. I said help not solve the problem

I have been trying to figure this out as well. I do not have an answer, but also wanted to add that there seems to be an extreme delay when BBMs are sent between someone using BBM5 and the old BBM. My convos with users that are on the old BBM seem to work fine, but I can generally tell when someone has upgraded!

I dont have this problem at all my wifes curve has old bbm on it and out messages are fast as usual

BBML- I am having the same problem. I can set mine & my wife's storms next to each other (both with BBM5.0) and the lag in receiving is unbelievable. Not sure what the fix is but hope the good folks at RIM are working on something.

I have been thinking about going back to the old BBM because i am getting tired of the delay, but i am not sure yet...
