    AFP Mobile News App

    Agence France-Presse (AFP) has announced that they will be joining forces with Handmark, a company more so based around gaming and applications to bring a new News Application to the Blackberry crowd. AFP, for those who are unaware, is a news company with journalists from over 80 different nationalities, who bring a wide variety of perspectives to the table.

    This application will bring one click access to a huge spectrum of news articles and photos from around the world right on your Blackberry. This application is now available, and all models are currently supported, trackball or touchscreen.

    Some of the key features and drawing points of this application are:

    *Customize tabs for various feeds of interest
    *Photo galleries, along with full news stories on a variety of topics from sports to technology and international news

    This application is available for a small one time fee of $2.99 and can be downloaded from the Handmark Website or it can be downloaded through Blackberry AppWorld

    This application looks like a must have for all users who like to keep current on world news on the go.

    That's the same thing I was thinking when I saw the screen shot. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see how other like it before buying it.
