Thread: SoftReset question

I just downloaded SoftReset, but it says its for the Pearl. Will this work on my 9530 as-is or are there settings that can be changed? Or will this not work at all? I haven't tried the program yet, figured I'd ask first.

You should use quickpull seems the best for the storm, and you can schedule it to restart your phone at a certain time.

If you install you will have to make some settings changes

From your BB Options/Advanced Options/Applications/Highlight "Phone" do not click/BB Button/ Edit Permissions/ Allow All

Also, Options/Advanced Options/Applications/Highlight "Soft Reset"/BB Button/ Disable Compatibility Mode

These changes should allow it to work on your device. I have the one downloaded from the third party apps page.
