Just found this new app:
Privus Mobile’s Caller ID service for cell phones displays callers’ names and numbers on the display screen for all incoming calls – not just those in your contacts. I downloaded the trial version on my Storm. It works on the Tour, not supposedly on the Storm, but since I'm on the Lyricidal hybrid with a lot of Tour files, it might work.
I only just downloaded it and haven't received a call yet (it's 2:50 AM here ), so I can't tell you if it works. What I'm doing up right now is another story.

Got the call. It only showed your phone number.
Did say you live in Virginia, but no name.

Thanks Gord will def try out the trial version. Looks pretty cool

well then it's just like the program i had on my voyager.....that would say what state the caller was from and city.....but with area codes sometimes it was wrong....especially in northern virginia where there is two area codes

I thought Virginia was all 757, what's the other area code?

Shouldn't it have shown the name registered to your phone?

maybe it's because vzw phones don't come up with a name like alltel and sprint....they would show up on my house phone with their name when they called from their cell

Yea when i call my parents it comes up as Wireless Caller

So really, the only additional thing this app is doing for me is telling me you live in Virginia, right?
