Yeah I'm sure with Wifi it will fly. Let us know if that helps.

I still found it to be slow over wifi. It was faster, but still would have liked to see requests be quicker. Scrolling around is tedious in my opinion. I tested with the BBOS home page and scrolling down for more content was futile. I waited a long time for more content to load. I also wish there as an escape or stop button to cancel a request.

Yeah true, that being said perhaps that's price for having Flash, AJAX, etc. But when its released it will be much better. When I used to have the Nokia E71 it really flew.

I am sure I will get flack for this, but I really like the iPhone's browser. Browsing web sites on it is like heaven compared to the BB browser.

You will never get flack for saying what you feel. And IMO anyone who disagrees with that statement has obviously not tried it. Mobile Safari is the best thing since sliced bread and def one of the best features on that device.

One more thing I should note about using SkyFire with wifi. It doesn't make the transition back to using the mobile network if you have turned off wifi.

Interesting observation, I wonder why that is. I guess that's advantage of not having wifi

Got it working on my Storm. With all the hype leading up to this, I'm not too impressed. Opera is much faster.
I'm sure there will be many more upgrades, I think I'll keep it for a bit and fool around with it. Too bad, I was really looking forward to this one.

I've had it on for about 15 minutes and my bb has had two random reboots.
Off it goes, I'll wait for the next release.

I can only imagine that the second generation Storm will have a browser similar to the dreaded "i" word. The only reason I say this, is that RIM did after all steal that big wig from Apple to help design new products. The new screen on the next Storm is clear evidence of that, IMO.
No matter where you go, there you are

I wish this were the case, but I highly doubt this. I would almost go as far as to say that there's no chance that we'd see something this good.
