Thread: Facebook launcher for 5.0

if you really need facebook on your 5.0 storm i created a launcher to the x.facebook site which looks and acts alot like the app...its not completely the same but its a facebook icon on my storm which is good enough till a compatible one comes out or we gain compatibility thru a hybrid.

you can download the .jad and.cod from Blackberry - Folder Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage to your desktop, load em to your memory card and open the .jad thru the files viewer

Thanks bdube....this will definitely benefit a lot of people who use facebook on a daily basis.

haha after trying every .jad version i could fins with failure, i gave in and made the launcher after seeing how nice the x.facebook was

Downloading now for further testing... will report back.

Gave it a try on my Bold (just in case... hoping!!) and it didn't work. The launcher loaded up and took me to the site but the links wouldn't click. Oh well worth a try

Links are not working for my storm.

when you say links do you mean it isnt actually loading the web page, or as in when you click search or profile etc?

Thanks for posting i was missing my facebook ..... Is there a Myspace app out yet for 5.0 that works yet ? without using the m.myspace.com

not that ive seen, i dont use myspace so i havent really spent much time investigating
