Thread: BuzzOff - Block unwanted callers and do not allow caller to leave voicemail

Note: Permission must be set to ALLOW in the Options->Advanced->Applications app for BuzzOff.

BuzzOff will block any phone number, block callers with private or unknown callerid, do not allow caller to leave a voice mail.

BuzzOff is the only callerID blocking application for the BlackBerry that has Pickup and Hangup feature. This will not allow the caller to leave you a voice mail. The caller will just hear a busy signal or the message from your carrier.

You can also select the phone number to block from the CallLog, Messages and AddressBook application. Just select Block Caller from the menu and select the type of block you want.

sounds like a great app. I too have been getting annoying calls lately. I'll have to try it out.

yeah it works with no hiccups at all just tired it on the wife's number and it blocked her successfully :lmao:

Bad, Bad News. I can not get this to work with .140 OS. I have set all permissions to allow, put in my wifes number and she continues to get through. FTW..

Anyone else on .140 try this?

WOW, an app that can Block your wife from calling, seems like a lot cheaper route to go.... I chose DIVORCE!

It really is a pretty cool app I now have 10 numbers set up for either pickup/hangup or straight to voicemail. It works every time :fing02:

Nice, reasonably priced too.

I know a lot of people using call blockers wanted the ability to just hang up on the caller vs sending it to voicemail.
