is ther ANY better way to back up apps other than the device switch way? i've never EVER had that work 100% for me, it'l pick and chose what apps it backs up and most of the time wont pick the most up to date version of the app.. its always screwey and very frustrating!!!!
Unfortunately not, rasputin. What DM does is it looks for updated apps, and if you have a recent back up saved, it will only back up newest ones. What I suggest you do, is send all your previous back ups to a zipped folder and delete original (not the zipped), and then back up again. This way it will pull all 3rd party apps. You should see folder with you PIN on it drag that to the desktop. You should also see an ALX file. Drag that into that folder and hit yes to replace the file. Then when you go to reinstall your 3rd party backups it should work 100% of the time.
I experienced problems with 3rd party backups going from 5.0 to 4.6 (more times than I care to mention... ahem...). Otherwise this method is always spot on for me.

Thanks for the info above.. I experienced Backup problems when I switched to 5.0.11 from 5.0.0.8. Went back to 4.7 and still had problems. Never did replace the alx file with the one inside the Pin folder. Will now try that. Anyone have the DM 5.0.08 for Verizon?
