The Storm Screen Lock & Wallpapers That I Use Daily!

Hello Everyone. I wanted to remind the BBOS crew about what I think is the best screen lock available. PLUS IT IS FREE!!

I use it many times a day and love it. I had an iPhone before my Storm and I loved the lock screen feature. When this lock was launched it was a pic of the "world" like the iPhone. It is now a blackberry icon and much nicer.

The only draw back (If there is any) is that if you touch the screen after it is locked, it will still light up using a little battery. I still love it. The website is "Stormgrounds"

Nice Pain, curious to see what everyone thinks. Of all the ones I have tried my favorite is PatternLock. It just has so many options the others lack and find it extremely user friendly. For my dollar that is the one I would choose.

Fair enough. That is good to hear jlevy. Curious, does the screen light up when you touch it even after it is locked? I think I read that it does.

Honestly I have forgot. Since I got the Tour I have not fired up the Storm. Will check that out next time I power it on.

Been using Stormslider ever since. Was tempted to get patternlock, but I have no problems with Stormslider. Btw, thank you for the link to those wallpapers. I have wallpaper shuffle but hardly use it due to the fact I can't close the app and it might be leaking memory. With .151 and the new Hybrids, think I'll install it again and see.

Patternlock hands down. PL has alot more features than StormSlider and its updated far more than StormSlider.

StormSlider is not a lock. All you have to do is take the battery out and someone can get into your phone. When I think of lock I want real lock protection. StormSlider just can not do that. Its also other way around StormSlider.

Why is stormslider not a lock? The sole purpose of the app is to lock the screen so buttons don't get pressed while it's out away, which it does every time my screen dims or I'm on a phone call. It's not a phone lock, it's a screen lock.

I know when a thread gets moved/merged/etc, the poll gets, I want to say, disabled. It can still be attached to the thread, but will not allow people to vote. (been there, done that:D) :)
