Google Mobile App v3.4.14




Here it is Google has updated there mobile version to 3.4.14. I'm not sure what was actually updated on this but it is now here. The Google Mobile App has been updated from 3.4.8 to version 3.4.14. Thanks to our friends over at BerryReview for this tip.

Worked fine for me? Did you try to access it from your phone or PC?

Bryan I tried it from my phone and the link just takes me to a standard mobile version of Google Search

I'm using the Blackberry Browser

Bryan, I hope I did this right and attached you will see a copy of the screen shot of what I get when I use the link you are providing

Then when I click on search in the above screen shot it takes me to the standard Google search page, what am I doing wrong?

Not sure why it isn't showing the mobile app download link. This is the link you should be seeing/

I just loaded the link above and got a page that says "Device Not Supported". What the hell is this new version not compatible with the Storm?

Has anyone actually used version v3.4.14 on a Storm?

I'll see if there is a desktop install for the app.

Alright I can only find a desktop installer for BES users. And that's not really what you want. But I do have an idea and maybe someone would be willing to help with you with it.

If someone who has the latest version installed on their Storm make a back up of their third party apps, they will have the files you need to install from DM. They would need to edit the ALX file so that it is just the xml data for Google Mobile app, and include the file that goes along with it. Then you could use DM to install the ALX file. I would be willing to do this for you, but I do not have a Storm.
