    I just found the link to the latest version of Desktop Manager available from Verizon website for BB Tour 9630....

    Yup, I noticed when I ran it, it didn't ask to update or uninstall and reinstall the new version so my guess is it's the same version that came on the CD. My only options were Modify, Repair and Uninstall.

    I have DM 5.0.0.8...and it's working fine for how much I use it....I am sticking with it until RIM comes out with a DM that has the ability to simply back up 3rd party apps
