Thread: Shazam now Storm Specific!

Yup you read it right! A dearly loved app by many BlackBerry users, Shazam, has now released the Storm Specific version!
Now many.... many Storm owners can rejoice!
Keep in mind readers that, Shazam gives you limited use of this app in the trial period. If you wish, you can choose and buy the app right through the application.

After playing with this version myself, I need to say I am impressed by the ease of use! (Barely used Shazam before)
It has an easy flow to the application and it has a nice look to it. So it is not gonna get boring! Nice right?
I believe I have easily been addicted to this after this short time!

Now for the eye candy!

This is the boot up screen



Here you will see the menu where you can "tag" a song or opt to pay for the application (well worth it!).



After playing with this for a little bit, each song I "tagged" came back and I had results within 15-20 seconds. Now THAT is fast!



Also available on the screen shot above, you get a list of options to choose from.
In the correct order shown on the screen, it follows as: Buy, More Info, Similar, Share Tag, Delete.



So with the Storm Specific version now available, what else could we want!?

lmao, its a song ID app...you hear a song on the radio or whatever and run the app and it tells you the information on the song... artist, album, etc. and gives you the option to buy the song apparently too

you mean on the radio via blackberry?, so i need a diff streaming radio app...
sorry im a noob on this...

you would use if to identify songs that you are listening to on the radio, TV, in a movie, at the store, in an elevator... whatever (not on the bb though)

you just hold your bb up to the music and hit tag and voila, you know what your listening too

Can't say for sure cat never used Verizons. I can tell you not only does Shazam work all the time but it is fast. I have heard the the vzw one has issues with both those points.

I love this app! I used it on my iPhone. I have been using the non storm version on my Storm and it works great. I am glad they made a storm adaptation.

It is a really nice application but I am really happy with vzw songid ... I even have a setting on the vzw songid that the application will email me a name of the song ... I think I'll stay with the songid for now

Just downloaded the PAID version and it works GREAT well worth the wait!!!
