    BlackBerry Instant Messaging Clients Updated



    Blackberry Instant Messaging clients got an update today, head over to the BlackBerry site via BlackBerry browser and download them, please let us what's new and how do you like them.

    No love for 5.0 yet!!

    Facebook updated to 1.6.0.21
    All others updated to 2.1.48

    Facebook v1.6.0.21 Fixes Calendar and Friends Refresh Issues

    I just received a tweet from Blackberry News about the Facebook update. Here is the the info....

    RM has released an upgrade for Facebook, version 1.6.0.21 for the BlackBerry.

    What’s in it? Fixes for your constant refresh of your friends list issues encountered during OS upgrades where the Facebook calendar was being set as the default calendar.

    At the same time, RIM released four new Knowledge Base articles with this release. You’ll note in these KB articles, RIM refers to the upgraded app is “MR1″, which is the same as version 4.6.0.21.

    KB18441, informs that the unending “friends refresh” issue has been fixed in 1.6.0.21.

    KB18442, provides a resolution and workaround for restoring BlackBerry calendar events during an OS upgrade when the Facebook calendar can become set as your default calendar. Basically, this version 1.6.0.21 of Facebook avoids that issue, according to the article.

    KB18674, informs that Facebook for BlackBerry will display a maximum of 1200 friends.

    KB16369, details the Facebook for BlackBerry minimum requirements.

    Head over to Blackberry App World and download it....
