Who's looking forward for the release of that one for the BlackBerry?! Bolt is just horrible IMO, and so is the native browser.

I read the right up on this when it was in its first beta. I will be looking forward to its release and will give it a try.
Oh man Skyfire is awesome. I had a Nokia E71 with Skyfire and that browser is insane. I cannot wait. Any eta on a release for the Storm?
Wirelessly posted (Bold 9000 )
Any info yet, J, still in private beta, last I heard is that will be for summer...
BlackBerry by Choice!
I hope its soon! Def gonna use this on the Tour more then I would on the Storm![]()
Oh it's horrible! It doesn't even tell you how the spell a word right in google, it'll try to select everything beside the stuff you want. The mouse will just skip places. Very bad! But I do gotta say, it does load some sites up in a reasonable amount of time.
That's what I've heard also. I'm surprised no sort of beta of it has leaked.

Yes bb browser is not good. I can't wait to try skyfire. I have heard a lot of good things about it.![]()
I heard rumors when this was in alpha testing that we might get flash support with this browser (or have I bumped my head?). I may have my rumors mixed up considering the 10 billion tweets I get per day  Either way, Bolt sux, Opera Mini is ho-hum, and the BB browser was originally used on the Titanic. Soooo I'm looking forward to it to answer your question :deal:
Not really a scientific study but I loaded up there different websites with Opera and Bolt and here was the time it took to fully load (in seconds):
Opera Bolt

I heard its only coming out for the Bold and curve. So Storm users like myself will be stuck in compatibility mode.

- Android G1: An important platform that we are keeping our eye on.
- Apple iPhone: Nope. Still waiting for a call from Steve...
- Blackberry: We’ve launched our closed private alpha, and will announce our public beta this summer.
- Palm OS phone: Palm OS phones are not supported, but Windows Mobile phones offered by Palm, such as certain Treo or the Palm Pro models, are fully supported.
- Palm Pre: This phone is not even out yet, but we are eager to get our hands on it.
- Samsung Instinct: This phone is not a Windows Mobile device and will not run Skyfire.
- Other Symbian phones:We are concentrating on the Symbian S60 (3rd edition) phones. We have no plans to support Symbian S40 or S60 (2nd edition), or UIQ phones anytime soon.
- Mobile and feature phones:Skyfire will not run on standard mobile or feature phones such as the Motorola Razr, Samsung Glyde and other lower-end devices.
