Thread: Roxio software getting error

ok so i have been having this problem for some time with the roxio software for my phone that come with DM, i have uninstalled and reinstalled and still get the problem, i get this error



what is causing this problem ?

hmm still didn't fix's let me try a restart then i will try opening it

Then give this a shot:

(assume default view, for classic it's easier)
-Control Panel ->Appearance and Personalization->Folder Options->View : click on "Show Hidden files and folders" then click Apply
-Using explorer go to : c:\Program Data
-Delete folder called Roxio & Sonic (if present)
-Start Creator : should go through registration etc.

Roxi & Sonic is there but not what you saying

still no find on how to fix's this ?

i googled and found the same thing as jlevy, from what i am reading you have to delete the roxio folder and then start the creator, did you try that?

let re try again and see if it works

the folder in the Programs or in the hidden Programs folder ?

sounds like the roxio folder in program data to me

nope did that and still won't work keeps telling me to reinstall it and i have multiple times now, i can try installing DM 5.0 it was giving me problems last night but i can try again

idk kris ill see if i find anything else

what pc os are you running? xp? vista?

You need to search in the hidden folders as well allow hidden folders to be viewed. Depending on your operating system there are different ways to of doing that.

yep i have done that and still won't fix it
