Thread: UberSocial for BlackBerry v1.3 Released, Now Includes BBM Integration

One of the most popular BlackBerry Twitter apps UberSocial. Has had a major upgrade today that includes the much anticipated BBM integration feature. Now you can set your BBM status or personal message to your last tweet! There are also some bug issues that were fixed and work that was done to the login mechanism to Twitter.

Changes from 1.252 to 1.3 include:

• Integrated with BBM, you can now set your BBM status or personal message to your last tweet, requires BlackBerry OS version 5.0 or higher.
• You can save and restore draft tweets from the compose screen.
• Reworked the login mechanism with Twitter to avoid some issues.
• Added the ability to turn off the global 'Uber Tweet' menu item
• Fixed bug in mypict.me upload which could cause the app to lock up.
• Fixed bug in keyword muting where you couldn't include a '#' at the beginning of the keyword.
• Fixed bug where UberChannel background images were getting their corners rounded.
• Changed the link color in the red and pink themes to be more readable

I've installed it but couldn't integrate it with BBM !

I think we've faced this error before in one of Foursquare builds

Sounds like a caching issue perhaps. Could just be their server and nothing to do with the app coding.

I've reinstalled it as TwistMyMind has told me and succeeded in integrating it with BBM

Nice, this may be one of those uninstall first to upgrade apps.
