Thread: Facebook App Question

Is anyone else having a problem with it updating your phone book contacts and everything with there picture from facebook ? my wont for some reason

sorry for the delay, i just checked and everyone i have linked to facebook has a facebook pic in contacts...

do you have the options set up correctly?

mine works just fine and when they change their profile picture it changes on my phone

well i unsitalled and everything and it still wont update my contacts for some odd reason...

Try going into facebook and hitting menu > clear cache:



Then make sure the option boxes are checked appropriately (mine are unchecked but you get the idea):



If all else fails, try running the setup wizard again and start over from scratch. Good luck.

Kris I had a problem with the facebook app a while back. It wouldn't update any of my contact's new pics. I went in and manually linked each contact that had a facebook account even though it showed them as already synced. Every time I synced one it said something like "This contact is already synced as another contact in you address book. Sync with new contact?" Well, something like that.

Anyways after I went through and did this manually, everything worked fine. It was a tedious process but if Morganizer's suggestion doesn't work, try the manual route. It sucks, but it works.
