I never paid attention to the battery when I tried it. Next time I feel like loosing some memory I will run it and watch what happens to my battery.
You won't see a noticeable drain right away but if you use it often that is when it will get ya

I read thread where the developer answered this question and, in a nutshell, he said that there are different types of memory, all of which are not included on meterberry as "free"memory, and that memory is being recovered that you won't see on meterberry...I dunno, that's kinda what he wrote....
There's a good explanation (FAQ) of memory/memory usage on the Meterberry web site.
But, for clarification, here's what the developer said in his email which announced the update to V.1.4.5
1. Added button to recover memory (run the Java garbage collector) to the status screen. 2. Added button to low memory notification popup to recover memory. 3. Added option to recover memory hourly when the phone is idle. 4. Added button to view system event log to status screen. 5. Added option to clear system event log hourly when the phone is idle. 6. Added option to disable battery and/or memory logs. When log is enabled or disabled, a new entry is added to the log stating so. 7. Added total application memory to status screen. 8. Added percent free application memory to status screen. 9. "Startup", "Batt Full", "Rst Dis Rate", etc. tags in logs are now aligned in a single column. 10. Enhancements to application permission checking. 11. Improved graphics of battery icons. **WARNING**: use the "Recover Memory" button sparingly. If you use this too often, you will see a negative impact on battery life and memory usage. Thank You

what about the reset device in meter berry, that is somewhat like a bat. pull correct??
It's just like quickpull, and simulates a battery pull.
