Thread: Pattern Lock Issue

So i downloaded the new version that just came out but for some reason it will lock up when it once, like i was typing a texts and it just locked me out lol...

is anyone else having this problem ?

mine hasn't done that yet. Are you sure you didnt bump the button?

Go into options and set up your settings for pattern lock. Also make sure to set all permissions to allow.

haha better update, there always coming out with updates for that dang app. lol this is like the 3rd one sense i have had it

i have my PatternLock set to the left convenience key. i've hit it accidentally before, and it locks.

Just out of curiosity, why did you set it to convenience, if you can set it to work with default lock?

Ok, and you tried:
uninstalling,
rebooting,
reinstalling,
setting all permissions to allow,
changing settings under option>patternlock

there is also option with list of apps to disable patternlock on....look into that

yep i have done all these it was working fine till i upgraded it to the new version...

well. i've always had problems with the original lock (would take a long time to unlock when a message comes in, sometimes freeze and need batt pull), this was happening with all OS's. This setup works great for me. unlocks imediately. havent tried Pattern Lock with lock button because the original lock still locks, Pattern Locks just runs on top of it. that is why

haha i just use it as it comes and change a couple things here and there lol if i were to assign it to a button i would be locking my self out all the time... :Eyecrazy:

Mine randomly locks now too after the upgrade... this actually might be something they have to look into.

Actually, from what I am reading, we are not alone... Apparently there IS a few issues with the new Pattern Lock upgrade...
