Thread: TweetGenius Review

Ok, so this is my first review and it is on my most used app on my phone, TweetGenius by BGR (Boy Genius Report). Many people use Twitter more then they do Facebook or Myspace like myself. With so many applications to use for the phone, it is hard to choose a good running Twitter client. So here is a review on my first Twitter app and most likely more to come

TweetGenius is in BETA and does not support the BlackBerry Storm just yet. The models it supports are the BlackBerry Bold and the 8900 Curve. So the first screen shot shows how it is not supported on the Storm but every button is accesible. The main menu shows in this order, "Friends, Replies, and Direct Messages."

Once in the menu for "Friends" you will see the timeline of your friends or the sites you are following.

Hitting the BlackBerry button in the timeline will bring up the options to, Send a Update, Retweet a persons tweet, Direct Message a user, Reply to a persons tweet, and Mark all read. Among with other selections.

Another menu you do not want to overlook is the Options screen. To enter the Options, you must be on the Main Page and hit the BlackBerry button, and select options. It will bring up a window like this.



Here you will be able to change the connection, update time and other options.

I fixed them bossy and i have it set for 5 mins and auto connection, thats all i did lol
