FourSquare Launches Updated App (v3.0 Alpha)

Its upgrade time!!! Today we are seeing an upgrade from the FourSquare for BlackBerry App. This app has not been recently upgraded, so its nice to see a little FourSquare love for BlackBerry. FourSquare has now been upgraded to v3.0, and this version is HOT!

Along with some much needed bug fixes and added enhancements, FourSquare has added BBM integration. This is something we have all be looking for and are so glad to finally have. To get your hands on the new FourSquare v3.0 Alpha just head over to their site and pick it up. Don't forget to hit us up in the forums and let us know how you like (or dislike) the new version!

Was not able to get BBM to connect . Received error message FourSquare reached maximum downloads. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, apparently very few people have actually been able to connect it to BBM... What's even weirder is that it seems RIM is the one blocking it. Obviously the only people that can integrate this with BBM are the people that are beta testing BBM 6 as it only integrates with that version of BBM. Odds are we will see a BBM 6 official release soon.

Well I thought maybe it was because I had BBM 6 beta installed but then I realized I was able to obtain BBM integration for File Scout. I sent out an e-mail to support . Let's see I get a response. Keep us posted.

Maybe the BBM6 Official will be before or after Hackathon. It would be cool if they released it during hackathon!
