Thread: SugarSync for BlackBerry v2.0 now available!

It seems that SugarSync wanted to let the world know that it's a strong alternative to iCloud, as they've launched an updated version (v2.0) today. Presently there is no changelog available, but this is a great multi-platform sync option that will help you sync files/folders wireless from your BlackBerry to your desktop/laptop.

i find this very odd and never had this happen before every time i open this app it reboots my phone . or am i brain dead and missing something?

They seem to be mirroring Apple's cloud service. I believe that 5gigs is what Apple users will get free as well.

Does anyone know how much for their beyond 5gig paid plan?

Try deleting, battery pull, then reinstall, battery pull, then open the app.

Isn't Dropbox the same kind of app? They do have a mobile app, so I don't get the difference between this and Dropbox :S

Yes, basically. Nice thing about Dropbox is they have their PlayBook equivalent, BlueBox, so you can store and transfer from phone to tablet with ease. Don't know if SugarSync has a PlayBook version.

Then I will be uninstalling this app pronto. I don't mind signing up for something, but since I have Dropbox, I don't need anything else
