Thread: Gist for BlackBerry now supports more devices!

After initially supporting only the BlackBerry Torch in the USA and Canada, Gist is now compatible for more devices! Here is the list of added additional smartphones that you can now try Gist for BlackBerry:

• BlackBerry Bold: 9700, 9780, 9900, 9930
• BlackBerry Style: 9670
• BlackBerry Torch: 9800
• BlackBerry Bold: 9650

Note: You’ll need to be running BlackBerry OS 6.0 or higher and have permissions to install applications on your device to use Gist.

Nice eye Mike. You are correct. It should read 9650 instead of 9630. Thanks.

I'm still trying to see if Gist is worthy of the memory space on my 9780. Have you tried it yet Joe?

Yes, I have. It's not worth having unless you are into networking and want to build up a profile and organize your contacts in a different way. And the news feature is a bit redundant as it all ends up on Twitter or Facebook first anyway.

Yeah. I've tried it & still not 100% liking it. I guess it'll take time to grow on me. A bit creeped out with it finding "networks" that you didn't know your contacts had...lol
