Most likely not as this is a limitation set by your phone provider. You may be able to use a third party text app, but it wont be as intuitive.

You can take a look at crunchSMS. You can send a message as long as you want. It does break it up in to more that one text. I do not think there is any way to do just one large text. I think its one of the better ones.
If I'm gonna send a long text I usually send it MMS. I'm on Verizon and we are capped at 160 characters.
AT&T is also capped at 160, but what happens with long messages is that they are broken up and sent in multiple messages. But, when the phone receives the messages, they are put back together and displayed as one message. Probably like crunchSMS suggested by ice2921.Quote:
