Thread: Facebook 2.0 Beta problems 9300

Hi,

I recently installed Facebook 2.0 on my 9300 from Blackberry Beta.

I seem to be having trouble with the Facebook chat connecting though.. anyone else have this issue?

Facebook 2.0 is beta release so there will most likely be some bugs. I would suggest you use the Blackberry feedback tool and let RIM know the bugs. I do not use the chat feature so i cant say that its been an issue with me.

I never have an issue. But I also rarely use the chat feature.

Im using a Stom, but I had an issue like that at the start but seems to be working fine. Just did a battery pull and it worked

Have you been able to use the Facebook app on OS 6 as well? I'm curious to see what which OS runs the app better.

unfortunately, no I havent had the chance to play with FB 2 on an a 6.0 device. Id be willing to find out though

You probably like touch screen devices since you have a Storm. Are you going to be upgrading to one of the new devices when they come out?

runs nice on my Torch cant say that I have had any issues.

Plan to get the full touch screen as soon as its available. Those new buttons are not impressive, so it depends what it actually released.
None the less, yes.
I may switch over to Sprint one the new devices are released.

Which are you most looking forward to?

I've always been a full touchscreen user as I love the screen real estate for games/apps, but since owning the Bold 9650 for awhile, I'm starting to lean toward the keyboard device. So I'm almost thinking the Bold Touch 9930 will be my choice... the best of both worlds.

My first was an 8330, and to be honest, I do miss the keyboard. The short cuts were a nice feature to have. I mess with my friends BBs all the time and I always go to touch the screens, they get a good laugh out of it. Bold Touch really does sound nice, -minus the screen size. I will deffinately check it out when its available

Haha, I was doing the same thing during my transition to the Bold from the Storm. Habit.
