I believe that App World is available in the UAE and Jordan, but I'm not sure as to the access of App World from devices. RIM does say that they plan to roll out the Mobile App World to the entire Middle East, but who knows when as it's been 2 years + already and still nothing for the ME.

It's not available in the UAE, I should know i live here
I don't think they are giving this much priority, the Playbook is much more profitable, so will obviously be the center of their attention.

If you mean App World, I can download it anytime from my 8520, it's just that it gives me an error of not being able to connect to the App World server, whenever I open it.

Not quite sure, as I've never tried. The one thing I do know is that if you try to download a free app from App World, it sends you an email from which you go to the same page, except configured for mobiles, which tells me to open in App World, which, of course, doesn't work.

Try from the App World desktop site, I heard that it works.
