    Shrink-A-OS by lyricidal

Always stay up to date with my latest work at:
    BlackBerry Apps/Hybrids by lyricidal

To get all my latest Storm Tools in one:
    http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/StormTools.zip
    http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/StormTools.rar

Here is my Shrink-A-OS tool. It is made mainly for the 9530/9500, but it will work on all other Blackberry devices.
You can always download the latest version at:
    http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/Shrink-A-OS.rar
    or
    http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/Shrink-A-OS.exe (EXE Only)

    Current Version: V2.6

    Instructions:
    - Run Shrink-A-OS.exe from anywhere. (Vista/7 Users: Run as Admin)
    - Browse for your most current OS install folder (not the Java or CDMA) - Lots of people are missing this step!
    [For most users, it's in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\]
    [For 64-bit users, it's in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\]

    - Select what options you would like to remove.
    - Click Shrink My OS!
    - Launch Loader.exe to update your phone
*All files removed will go into a folder created within your Java called "RemovedFiles"*

    Update Log:
V2.7 - Added more language support, fixed Custom Dictionary option, now remembers your previous settings, now deletes .ALX's aswell
V2.6 - Quick Launch Fix fixed, other fixes
V2.5 - More fixes and added option to run Shrink-A-OS.exe in your Current OS install folder, Fix Quick Launch button, Fix Lock button
    V2.3 - Bug fixes
V2.2 - Added progress bar and Put It back option
V2.1.1 - It now asks you if you want to choose Default Font when you click Select All
    V2.1 - MMS Fix fixed
V2.0 - Added Browse button, fixed many of the errors people were having when files existed, it will also auto-save your last install folder
V1.3.7 - Auto-deletes Vendor.xml now when you click Shrink for easy install, Asian and Russian languages are now keepable
    V1.3.6 - Fixed a few errors I noticed after shrinking .122
V1.3.5 - GUI Created and updated
V1.3.4 - Added removal for Sim Card Capabilities and App Center
V1.3.3 - Added removal for Default Background Images, cleaned up wildcards that overlap
V1.3.2 - Added removal for UK English files, freeing up an additional ~1.6mb in the Java folder
V1.3.1 - Changed Voice Activated Dialing to an *exclude as per some requests, also added it to the remove all *'s option, reordered list
V1.3 - Fixed error people were having with some files not being moved. Should work all around better now! Added option 19 and task msgs
V1.2 - Default font, added event log viewer to 3rd removal option, minor fixes
V1.1 - Split up options into individual choices, minor fixes

    FAQ:
Why won't the IM icons go away?
The IM apps are apart of the Service books. Those icons you see now are just links to the OTA downloads of them, not the actual app. Try clicking one and see that it will direct you to the browser. Only solution for that right now is to hide them unless Verizon/Telus/other carriers change that on their end.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Swap-A-Radio
    http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/Swap-A-Radio.rar
    http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/Swap-A-Radio.exe (EXE Only)

    Current Version: V0.8

This is basically just to give easy access to different CDMA radio files, it will put it in the proper place, and you can launch loader from within it to update.
This is handy if you don't like the radio code that you're using, you can easily download and switch to whichever version listed.
    How to use:
Place Swap-A-Radio.exe in any folder and browse for your current OS install folder (not the Java or CDMA, the main folder)
Click which radio version you would like to swap to. It will download it and backup the old one.
click Launch Loader.exe and update with your new radio file.

    Changelog
    V0.8 - Added 141
    v0.7 - Bug fixes
V0.6 - Added .75 radio, caution: it may brick your phone with newer installs
V0.5 - Added Browse button, auto-deletes Vendor.xml, run from anywhere now just choose install folder, added progress bar, and added .132 radio
    V0.4 - More radios!
    V0.2 - Added .90
    V0.1 - Inital release

let me know if anyone runs into any trouble or has any suggestions.

If you're asking what can you use to extract the rar file, the answer is Winrar.
